VIBES

Night’s glazed
sweating petals
touched my skin ,
swarming all over
my grassy fields
where hoppers
began to sing ;
and  dewy drops
of soft desire
seeped   into
a subterranean stream
of  glassy waters
with scented floats
of freshly shed flowers
from overhanging plants –

baffling  ants deep down
from snoring anthills
to rise to murmurs
of a lilting tune
in  the caves of your
wide awake dune ;

now hold me tight
to your semi-lit spaces
till my breezy breath
wafts into the soft ripples
of a languidly  withdrawing
perfumed darkness…
