FIFA FIRE

On the eve of FIFA
before the new fire of football frenzy spreads ,
goals are scored ,cards yellow or red
scare the mighty footballers
and before success kisses the golden boot ,
Brazil’s underbelly reveals some dark secrets :
pimps foraging underage girls
as child prostitutes
for tourists to be on
a rampage for lusty shots
outside the game ;

besides one million or so licensed whores
readying themselves with lessons
being learnt in spoken English
for hi-tech encounters and inflated dollars—
an opportunity for prosperous sex-tourism
entailed by a strange sadism !

In World’s excitement
over the oncoming fixtures and scores
our children are going to be the casualties
or martyrs at the altar of perverse sexualities !!!
