HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Stories of bonded laborers
Being maimed, manhandled and murdered
For so- called acts of disobedience ;
Hordes of ragged poor exported
To destinations unknown
Like cattle huddled in trucks
Being dragged to slaughter houses ;
Goats before an ancient temple
Waiting for their turn for sacrifices.

They are also cent per cent human ,
Creatures of God built in His image
For prosperity and peace ;
But ‘masters’ decided otherwise
And they are in for shocking surprise.

Are they fated to rot like this in brick kilns
Or brothels , stone crushers or dance-bars
Red light areas and beauty parlors
Where they are made to wear themselves out
Like faint wicks burning without light
In absence of a solid fight
For their their basic right.
