FAMILY
Back to my own little world
Tucked in a little corner of this big world
I love to breathe peace
With a strong feel of members
Moving around like planets;
Exchange of kisses and wife's offer of coffee
At suitable phases
Intensifying the magnetic field;
My soul nestling in the cool shade

Of my daughters and granddaughters,
With old papa scanning the newspaper
Million times at the courtyard,
The granddaughter pulling my cell-phone
For selfie clicks and latest Hindi songs;
My sister serving water-rice with curd
Fried saag,coriander- tamarind paste
And a horde of other delicacies in haste
With the calf in the shed calling for attention
And my mother in her tomb
Shouting for all kinds of perfection.
