What stars do I see in the sky ? 
Are you :
Twinkling grains of the first glow of love on Sky’s maiden cheeks ?
Blazing trails of pure pearls cast across the shores of seas ?
Flowers that bountily blossom on heaven’s Christmas trees?
Necklaces of diamond around women’s slim necks ?
Or gleaming ‘ souls in conference’ of our ancient sages?

Shiny sand grains of love inside the loosened fists of God?
The brightly lit altars for enlightened recluses
who prefer to meditate in the open stretches ?
Nature’s fancy wear to please a polygamous Earth
In hide and seek with other greener women
Like rainbow, lightning, moon and rain ?

Whatever you be ?

Whatever be the mystery behind your tantalizing charm
you are the soul of many stories of love both cold and warm
you are the twinkling complexion on love’s pretty face
you are the beauty of this universe and its endless grace.
