LOVING YOU

was a flash of shine 
in the body of rain 
forming arcs of rainbows 
in the sky of two minds
in tune with a loving pain ;

I sprouted into
blades of wild grass
In your hot-pink flower garden
to the delight
of a crimson sun
peeping at us again and again ;

you softly whispered
some strange sweet nothings
in the song of a wind
into the forest of this heart
that caused intoxication of a life time
and I searched for that love
beyond the limits of time
in each and every
uttered and unuttered rhyme.
