CAMOUFLAGED
How beautifully you camouflage
Your desire to be with me all the while
Under feigned anger or a curvy look
Or beneath a half- suppressed smile ;
Pleading for isolation in words so puerile
When blossoms bloom forth like mushrooms
On your Spring body in colors so very juvenile.

I wait for you ,like a chameleon holes up
Before nature changes its multiple hues
Like hibernating caterpillars,
Before taking on
The shape of beatific butterflies ;
Like the frog in that damp wood
Before to monsoon it aptly replies.

How like a diplomat I conceal my real intent
In words of well designed moulds
Like your saree gracefully guarding
Your womanhood under its artistic folds .
