AWAKE TO  DREAM-1

Is it true dear that your dream there

Keeps me so engrossingly  awake here !

as I struggle with my lonely, wet pillow

with a bunch of broken dreams below;

beams of moon flood thro’ my open window

culling  your image to dance like a big shadow ;

awakening  love’s wound from its brief sleep

that for the  words of any  poem lie too deep.
